Missing Permissions

Read the exact refusal

Determine whether it names a native member permission, Fork role policy, bot capability, target hierarchy or stale workflow approval. Each has a different correction.

Check in order

Section titled “Check in order”
  1. Verify current native member permissions in Discord.
  2. Confirm setup and the original leaf command’s Fork allow rule.
  3. Inspect the bot’s permissions and highest role.
  4. Check channel overwrites and target role position.
  5. For Server Manager, refresh and review the exact current draft.

A custom Fork administrator role does not bypass the native member-permission guard. Native Administrator bypasses the Fork matrix but does not move the bot above a target or validate an old approval.

Do not grant everyone Administrator or move roles without understanding the consequence. Use Required Discord Permissions and the exact command article as the checklist.
