AI Data and Memory
AI replies can use allowed conversation context, server FAQ and enabled personal memory. Those sources are separate from a provider’s own systems and from operational records.
Personal preference
Section titled “Personal preference”Memory privacy changes whether personal memory is enabled. Disabling retains saved facts so they can still be inspected or erased deliberately. It is not a universal “delete my data everywhere” action.
Retrieval availability
Section titled “Retrieval availability”Facts may be stored even when semantic indexing/retrieval is not enabled. The memory view can show an availability notice. A model recalling something does not prove the stored profile is accurate; inspect the actual profile.
Provider processing
Section titled “Provider processing”AI features depend on configured external services. Do not submit secrets or information you are not entitled to share. This guide does not claim a provider has no retention or has erased a request after a local memory clear.
Use Data Handling and the official privacy notice for broader policy. Personal memory clear is destructive and has no additional confirmation dialog in the direct handler.
