Installing Fork

Signing in identifies your Discord account. Installation is a separate action that adds Fork to a server.

Install

1. Open Add to Discord on the official website.
2. Complete the verification shown by the sign-in flow.
3. In Discord, select the server you intend to manage. Review the requested permissions.
4. Confirm installation and check that Fork is present in that server.
5. Run setup as a server Administrator.

Your account must be allowed to install applications in that server. A missing server in Discord’s picker is not repaired by repeatedly signing in.

Local previews are disconnected

The local marketing preview does not perform OAuth, install a bot or access a server. Its authentication destinations intentionally show a disconnected-preview notice. Do not enter credentials into local fixtures.

Verify the installation

Confirm the bot’s presence, channel visibility and the intended server name. Use ping or help for a harmless check. If commands are absent, see Commands not appearing.

Review required permissions before broadening access. Installing the bot is not a reason to give every member administrator rights.
