Common Setup Problems
Setup refuses to start
Section titled “Setup refuses to start”Confirm you are in a server, have current Administrator permission and installed Fork there. Read the returned preflight blocker. Moving Fork’s role or fixing a specific permission may be necessary; granting everyone broad access is not a safe workaround.
Manual setup is still incomplete
Section titled “Manual setup is still incomplete”Opening Role Permissions is only navigation. Save a valid configuration for the intended guild. Refresh to verify the saved state; an unsaved editor is not completed onboarding.
Setup restores an older review
Section titled “Setup restores an older review”This can be the expected resume behavior. Inspect the recommendation and its current revision. Use re-analysis/reconfiguration controls when appropriate, rather than attempting to force an old approval onto a changed plan.
Login or commands fail
Section titled “Login or commands fail”- Missing server: check account, installation and live native permissions.
- Missing slash commands: inspect command visibility.
- Verification loop: follow dashboard login checks.
- Partial Server Manager change: use failure recovery, not repeated setup.
For support, include the safe visible error, timestamp and affected feature. Do not provide tokens, private keys, session cookies or a full unredacted configuration dump.
