Bot Not Responding
Start with a harmless check
Section titled “Start with a harmless check”Confirm Fork is installed in the intended server. Try ping or help in a channel it can access. A disconnected bot cannot respond to any command.
Separate command and AI symptoms
Section titled “Separate command and AI symptoms”- Slash command missing: inspect command visibility.
- Access denied: inspect permissions.
- Commands work but conversation is quiet: check AI-channel enablement, response mode and cooldown.
- Text works but voice fails: use Voice/TTS.
Mention Fork explicitly in a configured AI channel. Smart/Triggered routing is not a promise to answer every message. Repeated prompts do not repair a missing provider or budget.
Check Service Status, then preserve the safe error and timestamp if the issue persists. Do not reinstall repeatedly or paste credentials into support messages.
