Role Permissions
Role Permissions controls which Discord roles may use Fork commands. It is not Discord’s native permissions editor.
Save a policy
Section titled “Save a policy”Select the intended guild, inspect role identities and allowed commands, then save a valid configuration. Manual setup is not complete merely because this page was opened. Refresh to verify persistence.
Sensitive commands fail closed before valid setup or when their allow rule is absent. Native Administrator bypasses Fork’s role matrix. Explicit role denials and configured administrator roles have their own evaluation order; see Permission Model.
Grouped commands
Section titled “Grouped commands”Slash presentation groups related actions, but policy remains on the original leaf keys. For example, mod ban uses ban, while tools set uses tooladd. Existing policy keys are not replaced by a second group-only authorization system.
After changing native Discord roles or hierarchy, recheck effective access. A Fork grant does not supply the native permission or bot capability needed for an action.
